It was ten years later so I had grown up enough to realize how fortunate I was to be there. I also discovered Beato a few years ago and I loved his stuff for a while but I think he's lost his mojo. He seems to lose the thread a lot lately, and spends way too much time promoting his merch.
Very sorry to hear that about Beato. I wonder if he’s still teaching. Maybe the YT channel has become his main source of income. I also noticed his videos are much more “marketed” rather than the earlier long form conversations.
